I, myself, personally love the winter season! I love the fashion, my skin is so much more well behaved and that's when I really feel cosy and most comfortable! With every season comes new looks, styles tips and tricks to make yourself look fabulous. With make-up there are absolutely no rules so there are a countless amount of ways you can enhance your beauty, but I'm going to take you through my favourite trends for this fall/winter season.
BOLD BROWS
For me, bold brows aren't about the season, they are a must all year round! Brows shape your face, enhance your eyes and when done well just bring a whole look together. I must say bold brows doesn't necessarily mean thick. It's more of that unfinished, unruly look. Bold brows are less precise and more natural looking. They don't have to have those crisp edges or lovely pointed ends but kind of finish where ever the last hair my end on that particular day and they don't have to have a defined shape. If you do desperately want that bold brow look I would suggest self grooming rather than having then done professionally (ie. threading or waxing), plucking is a great way to remove any unwanted hairs while still maintaining that frayed looking edge. But if you really want that bold look why not stop grooming all together.
STYLE TIP: Brush hairs upward using a spooly brush before and after filling and set with a brow gel. This will hold your hairs in place pointing wildly in all different directions giving you full, luscious looking brow!

RED/PURPLE/BROWN HUES
I have fallen in love with my dark lipsticks this winter! It's literally all that I've been wearing. Matte or glossy I think these darker lip stains make such a statement! My favourite has to be the purple/brown tones and I love a deep dark lip on a fairer skin! I Think dark lips look so mysterious and are very sexy without being provocative. Invest in a couple of really dark deep lip pencils and mix and match them with different lipsticks to create your own custom shades.
STYLE TIP: For a lip stain effect use a nice opaque lipstick and pat off all excess with a tissue. This is a great way to wear a dark lip as part of a day look.

BIG LASHES
I love big bold lashes!! Summer, winter, 2013, 2050, lashes will always be a focus point of my make-up! And heaps of mascara is the in thing right now, top and bottom!
And although most people just chuck their mascara on anyhow, there is actually a technique!
If you want to get your lashes as long and thick as possible I always say you need a minimum of 2 mascara's! Definition followed by volume is key! Apply that defining mascara making sure to separate them as much as possible and follow with that defining mascara right at the root focusing on the outer lashes giving that fanned out look. If you don't like to wear mascara you can opt for some falsies, make sure they compliment your eye shape and size, if they are too long or thick, they can have an adverse effect and just make your eyes look smaller.
STYLE TIP: Sweep a neutral colour that compliments your complexion over the entire lid adding some black liner to the upper and lower water line and pack on that mascara! It gives such an effortless looking finish!
